  I went to the Medical center for the first time yesterday, I am new to South Flordia and it was a bit confusing. The GPS turned me around 2 times even though I was at the right location, I just could not see the building I needed and the signs had directions for every other building but not for the one I was looking for. It turned out that it was behind a fence, I was very flustered and nervous after 10 minutes of walking in circles. I was passing a female medical professional wearing a white lab coat, she was on what was definitely a personal phone call from what I did hear, I decided to try and ask her for help. Being that I was there alone and as a survivor of a truma who deals with PTSD I tend to be more comfortable approaching a female stranger verses male strangers. I quietly and politely said "excuse me, do you happen to know which building is 4021 I am lost" her response was "you need to find a valet and ask them". I was already nearly in tears when I finally tried to asked her help, because I had been out there 10 minutes and was frankly already being ignored by the valets who had watched me walk in circles. I did finally ask a male valet if he could help he did point to a building while he was running in the other direction. I really think they need better signs because the building I was trying to find was behind a fence and not accessible or visible from the road. If I am faced with going to a hospital I will be requesting to go anywhere besides this place. I do really like the doctor that I went to see yesterday and it was my first time there, I just have a hard time believing such cold and careless individuals will provide excellent care during a time of need. I think they really need a lesson in common decency, I made eye contact with at least 6 employees when I was very lost, checking signs, and not one offered help or asked if I needed assistance.

  Center for Medical Arts.. if you're learning Medical Arts it's a great place to visit if you know nothing about the Medical Arts then not a place to visit for you
